Rollins Mansion

The most stunning venue for our wedding in June 2026! Everyone commented on how beautiful it was, and they loved Artisanal Food Company's breakfast-for-dinner buffet, especially the stuffed French toast. It was so nice for our guests to have access to the air conditioned indoors on a hot day. Everything was wonderful, with the exception of not feeling very coordinated on the day. Things were a little chaotic, so I would recommend a wedding planner if you can afford one. It would have been nice to have had a rehearsal at the venue, which we opted out of because they only offer to open the venue 2 hours earlier, and it would have cut into hair & makeup time (if you don't want to get up super early). My decorators were very confused when they arrived because there was no one to show them around (I gave them maps and instructions but it's hard to visualize, the mansion is a bit of a maze). Overall, though, a wonderful experience. A dream venue!

The Rollins Mansion was such a special place for our big day. From start to finish, the staff (mainly Brianna & Jacky) were incredible. They were organized, creative, went with our vision and executed things beautifully. While it is one of the more reasonably priced high end feeling venues in Des Moines, know that there are other fees involved with the day depending on where around the mansion you want to hold your events. That was really the only thing we didn't expect going in. This could probably be said of any venue in the metro, though. Just wanted to make the call out. Their in house catering (Artisanal) is AMAZING and we are huge foodies. We have been to multiple dinners they offer to the public over the last 1.5 years to "taste test" the catering to make sure it was the right fit for our special day. Every meal we've had there is incredible. Our wedding guests are still ranting and raving about how the braised beef short ribs were the "best meal they've ever had". Would 10/10 recommend Rollins for your wedding venue if you love character, unique experiences, and the flexibility to have cool events indoor and out.

This venue is absolutely stunning. The appetizers were the bomb, especially the garlic pita triangles. We did get lost a few times.

Amazingly beautiful mansion! Such an ideal place to host a wedding. The staff is well equipped to handle everything needed for a celebration. Large enough to accommodate the whole wedding party to ready themselves for the big event. Beautiful backdrop for photos! Can't say enough good things about Rollins Mansion.

Rollins has been hands down my favorite venue to photograph! The architecture is amazing as well as every small detail inside. The staff are so friendly and helpful too. I could not wait to share the gallery with my bride due to this location! 😍
