Savor at River House

We had our wedding reception at Savor and it couldn't have been more perfect. James, Angie, and their team did a phenomenal job from making sure our timeline went smoothly, serving the guests, and packing our items together! They were so organized and efficient which made our night stress free. James is definitely your go to person for all your event needs, he made the process so easy and effortless. We highly recommend Savor to anyone looking in hosting any kind of event!!

We hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner here, and James and his entire staff were absolutely wonderful—attentive, professional, and so easy to work with. The food was superb, with every dish prepared and presented perfectly. The venue itself is beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for such a special evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I’ve done events at Savor for work and just had the great fortune of having my wedding and reception here. James and Angie are absolutely wonderful! I have high trust in them. They have multiple spaces that make your wedding fit your needs. This is a small detail, but to me mattered a lot, but the chairs for indoor ceremonies and reception are included. They are beautiful/comfortable, and different from what you see at most weddings. The food is, of course, amazing as a Chef Varanese restaurant. We are SO fortunate to have a venue like this in Louisville!

I had my Henna at Savor and it was a beautiful, grand space that overlooked the Ohio River. I am always so impressed by the quality of the service and food at River House and my experience at Savor did not disappoint. The event space had a dressing room that I could get ready in before my entrance. It was easily accessible and close to the space. There were also private rooms that the men of the party ate dinner in for part of the event. Each space overlooks the river for a wonderful view. I could not speak greater of my experience with Savor - not only the elegant space, but of the people and service. They truly cared about my experience and was always 1 step ahead of our needs. They let us decorate the space as we pleased and our expectations were exceeded in every way! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

We held our daughter in laws Henna at Savor and it was fantastic. The space was versatile and accommodating. Outdoors, our guests enjoyed the balcony showcasing the amazing view of the Ohio River. Indoors, the main event room was elegant and spacious. The space was large enough to comfortably accommodate a dance floor area of 75 guests. Additionally, the elegance of the chandeliers made the space feel elevated yet easy to decorate with our decor for the event. We had a DJ for our event and Savor had their own audio system that the DJ could use to tie their sound into. This was phenomenal as it gave great quality of sound in the room. Savor also provided appetizers and hors d’oeuvres for our event. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but the quality of service as well. In preparation for the event, we were very grateful for the dressing room that Savor had. It was spacious with great lighting and we were able to put our bride in here before the reveal. It also held our personal belongings that we brought with us for the event. The space was secure which made us feel comfortable. Lastly, Savor’s staff during the planning process were reliable and responsive. Savor provided tastings for the event and recommendations for different services they provided. The staff was very involved in the planning process and held many sessions with me. During the event, the Savor staff was readily available and attentive to our needs. Overall, I was extremely pleased with our event and Savor. I recommend this event space for any and all special events or occasions.
