SoHo Grand Hotel

I stayed here on a work trip. At check in, you are greeted with complimentary prosecco. All the staff we interacted with - concierge, attendants, doormen - were nice and greeted us. The hotel rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the HVAC worked great for our summer stay. Shower products were nice quality, which showed the level of care and detail going into the hotel.

Just wrapping up a first stay here and looking forward to the next visit. Beautiful building, kind staff, and comfortable rooms sitting on the edge of SoHo. Reminds me a lot of a more minimal Chicago Athletic Club, with the sporty stuff replaced with dog statues and lush plants. Chose this hotel for location & after researching a quiet and clean place. Easy to see on the map it's on a great spot for easy wallabiity and train access. The quiet is truly impressive for an NYC stay. My stay overlapped with Knicks/Spurs championship game 5 and the streets were teaming with watch parties and fans, but I did not hear them from my room when the game ended!! I also ended up with a room next to the elevators, but the door and walls are solid enough and bed is far enough back I was never awaken from hall noise. It's also super clean and well maintained. I could not get check in more than 10 min early (presumably because they were really, really cleaning the rooms?) but the lobby are was comfortable and constantly being swept and tidied while I waited. I think it says a lot as well that the hotel is for dog lovers and welcomes pets with no fees (heck, they have a dedicated dog park bigger than most city parks!) and there's no sign or smell of anything but clean, fresh air and sheets across the hotel.

I stayed here just after New Year’s for a birthday getaway, and overall I had a really great experience. The boutique rooms are stylish and full of character, the bathrooms are beautiful, and everything felt clean and thoughtfully put together. The bed, pillows, and linens were incredibly comfortable, which made the stay feel even more special. The Club Room and breakfast were both excellent, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel made it easy to see why it has such a strong reputation. The location is also a huge plus if you want that classic New York feel without being right in the middle of total chaos. The only thing worth mentioning is that the hotel gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, especially around the bar and lobby, and that energy seemed to carry on pretty late into the night. During my stay, there were quite a few younger guests bringing a louder, more party-like atmosphere than I expected from a hotel. It may have just been that particular weekend, but it’s still something future guests may want to keep in mind. It didn’t ruin my stay at all, but it’s definitely good to be aware of if you prefer a quieter environment. The windows are also fairly thin, so you can hear a lot of what’s happening outside. A fan or some brown noise would probably help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

He handled our luggage and vehicle with exceptional care and efficiency, setting the tone for an outstanding stay. Had an amazing experience at SoHo Grand. Went into the city for a quick overnight to catch a show and have dinner for our 20 year anniversary. I made a very quick comment about our plans for the evening and the reception team went so far and above our expectations. The hotel is amazing, rooms were fun and comfortable, and the service was quietly amazing. Great place to stay
