Lauren, Bobby, and the Southern Oaks team, Words cannot express how grateful we are for all of you and for making our wedding day so incredibly special. From start to finish, every single detail was absolutely perfect. Nothing and I truly mean nothing could have turned out better than it did. Everything was so magical, and it truly felt like a fairytale that we will never forget. Working with the entire Southern Oaks team was such an easy and enjoyable experience. Everyone was so kind, organized, and attentive, and you made the entire planning process completely stress-free. You gave my husband and I a day we'll cherish for the rest of our lives, and we can't thank you enough for that! I can't stop replaying the night in my head, and we keep getting texts and calls from our guests saying how much fun they had and how badly they want to go back! The food was nonstop and so yummy. From the bottom of Cameron's and my hearts, thank you all so much for making our dream wedding a reality. We truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. We can only hope some of our friends follow our lead and get married at Southern Oaks so we can come back and experience the magic all over again from the guest side this time!! First off THANK YOU to the entire crew at Southern Oaks for making our wedding unforgettable!! We knew when we got engaged we wanted to get married in New Orleans, but had no idea where to start. After seeing about 10 venues, we still were left with a feeling that we had not found the right venue which met our budget, as well as give our guests who would be traveling in a unique experience. When I got back to Chicago, I began furiously researching and came across Southern Oaks on Reddit. After traveling back to see a few final venues, it became clear Southern Oaks was the winner! We met with Lauren & her team, who were unbelievably kind and organized, and made the process seamless. I planned the wedding from out of town with no wedding coordinator, and it was seamless (thanks to the Southern Oaks team). Before the wedding, they were incredibly helpful with a few last minute hiccups. The day of the wedding, everything was perfect! The service was unbelievable, the food was amazing, the bartenders were great, everything was unreal! Bobby the owner was also fantastic, and was right in there helping to make sure everything ran smoothly the night of. Our guests cannot stop talking about how incredible the entire experience was, and cannot stop raving about the food. When we booked, we thought it was too good to be true - we thought there would be a catch involved. One of the risks with Southern Oaks is that they do not do food tastings, so we were unsure about how the food would taste, but it blew away our expectations. I have no idea how they manage to pull everything off with all the perks, and at such an incredible value, but they do! These people are pros! Thank you Lauren, Bobby, and the Southern Oaks team - I wish we could do it all over again, and maybe we will down the road!

Wonderful wedding reception venue! Great, welcoming staff! The manor was able to accommodate everyone comfortably, and they helped with ever aspect of the event. The food was some of the best I’ve had (try the sliders) and Maxwell made sure we had everything thing we needed. Scenic, historical, and everyone felt pampered. If you are having a wedding or reception here in the NOLA area, THIS is your place!!’

Absolutely breathtaking! Southern Oaks exceeded all of our expectations and more. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with true Southern hospitality, and the entire team made sure everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful every step of the way, and their dedication to ensuring our day went smoothly was evident. The owners went above and beyond, adding special touches that made the event feel even more magical. Bobby, Stacey, and Lauren were amazing throughout the entire process, and their coordination with outside vendors was flawless. The food was endless and delicious, and they even surprised us with canollis, which was a delightful personal touch. Even after the event, they took the time to check in with us to make sure we were completely satisfied, going above and beyond to ensure our dream day became a reality. Southern Oaks truly made our wedding feel like a fairytale, and we can't thank them enough for everything they did. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host our celebration. Thank you to everyone at Southern Oaks for making our day so perfect! Wow. Southern Oaks completely exceeded anything I had in mind for my wedding. Everything from planning my wedding to execution on the day of was flawless. The communication with them was so easy, they answered every call, question, and email promptly. I was planning this wedding from Texas and they made it as seamless as possible. Many of my guests were from out of town and they were In awe of the property and food. Many of my guests say it was the most beautiful wedding they have been to and the food was exceptional. I wish I could re live my day. I am forever grateful to southern oaks for giving me my dream wedding
