Striped Pig Distillery

If you are in the Charleston SC area, don’t pass up a chance to visit Striped Pig Distillery. The staff are super knowledgeable and hospitable. The various types of spirits they have are amazing! Don’t miss out - check them out!!!! One of our favorite stops of the trip!!!! Thank you Striped Pig from a great visit - we will be back.

My wife and I visited and had a wonderful time at this woman-owned and operated distillery. Amanda, our server and bartender, was an amazingly friendly and generous host. This is a family-run operation and you can feel that in the vibe and atmosphere. We met the owner's son, who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and generous with his time. In addition to the great people running it, their cask strength bourbon offerings were the highlight of our visit and, in our opinion, their best tasting spirits. We sampled the Southern Pecan bourbon and, although not our wheelhouse, this spirit will impress many who may not ordinarily enjoy whiskey. Striped Pig is easily the best South Carolina whiskey we've had and among the best overall distillates we've experienced.

We had a great experience with Remy at the Striped Pig Distillery. We enjoyed talking to him about the business and we all savored the various spirits made there in a flight (included with the tour). Looks like an amazingly fun place for an event. Check it out!!

The bartender Mary Beth? Was awesome. She was spot on with her suggestions. Working on getting striped pig products sent to NY also.

Striped Pig Distillery is an absolute hidden gem in Charleston. While they offer an impressive selection of spirits, their bourbon is what truly sets them apart. The flavor is rich, complex, and exceptionally smooth, with notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and just the right amount of spice. Every sip reflects the care, craftsmanship, and passion that goes into creating a world class bourbon. What I loved most was the variety. Whether you prefer something bold and robust or smooth and refined, they have a bourbon that will impress even the most seasoned whiskey enthusiast. It is rare to find a distillery that can deliver such consistency and quality across different styles. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The tasting experience was outstanding and gave me a new appreciation for the art of distilling. If you are in Charleston and appreciate great bourbon, Striped Pig Distillery is a must visit. Their bourbon is simply exquisite and stands toe to toe with bottles from much larger and more well known distilleries. Five stars all the way.
