TAK Event Center

We just had the most incredible wedding ceremony and reception for our daughter at the TAK Event Center last night. I can’t say enough good things about Todd Carlson and his production manager, Jason! From the very first planning meeting to the final cleanup, they handled everything with exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. They often said throughout planning the process “we are here for whatever you need, this isn’t about us!” And their actions truly proved their words. Todd was responsive, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure every aspect aligned with our daughter’s plans. The lighting, sound, setup, timeline, you name it, they were on top of every detail. Jason was an absolute rock star on the day of the event: calm under pressure, incredibly efficient, and proactive in anticipating needs we didn’t even know we had. They turned our ideas into a perfectly executed, stunning, and deeply memorable celebration. The venue looked breathtaking, the flow was seamless, and every guest raved about how beautiful and fun it was. They truly exceeded our (already high!) expectations and made what could have been stressful feel effortless and joyful. We are so grateful and will be recommending the TAK to everyone we know. Thank you for creating such a magical night for our daughter, her new husband, and everyone present. Highly recommend…. 5 stars aren’t enough!

This venue was perfect for our wedding reception. Todd was excellent to work with, he answered any questions we had right away. He was also extremely helpful with making sure the tables were all setup where we needed them and helped if we needed more or less on the day of. All our guests were welcomed with a warm smile and enthusiasm for our special day. What I really loved about this venue was the location. It had ample parking and it was not in the busy part of downtown, so it was very easy to get to for all our guests. It was great to have a full service bar and if we were wanting any type of drinks, Todd was willing to order them beforehand. We had catered in pizza for our reception, so there was a great kitchen for the caterer to setup and use, but also for us to store any food we brought in. The best part and one of the biggest reasons we picked this location was the sound system. Since this is a music venue first, the sound quality was off the charts. They had all the setup you would need, even if you are just using a Spotify playlist, to having a full on DJ. Since we got eloped prior to our reception, there was a giant projector screen that came down for us to premier our wedding video for our guests. We really wanted a fun low-key reception, and this place was a perfect match, and the price was unbeatable. I would 1000% recommend anyone else to book this venue for their next event! Thank you Todd and the rest of the TAK staff for an awesome wedding reception! We are so happy with everything. We got so many compliments how awesome the venue is. Thank you for all your hard work this weekend I know it was busy and a quick turn around time with two weddings. So glad we were able to find a venue with a bar on site so that we didn’t have to stress about bringing one in. Also loved that we weren’t restricted by a list of approved caterers. Todd is the best! Appreciate all the flexibility and communication. Get married here people!!

We recently had our wedding reception at TAK, and Todd was so easy to work with! He was always quick to respond to any questions we had. We appreciated that there weren't extra fees like some other venues have and we could choose our own caterer for the meal. We highly recommend TAK!
