On the day of our wedding, everything ran like clockwork thanks to the impeccable service provided by the event staff. From the seamless dinner service to the efficient bar and valet services, every detail was handled with precision and care. Our guests were truly impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by the entire team. The venue itself was nothing short of stunning. The space was immaculately maintained and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Whether it was the elegant grant staircase or the grand fireplace, every corner of The Athletic Club of Columbus exuded sophistication and charm. Additionally, the venue's convenient location next to the Renaissance Hotel was a major plus for our out-of-town guests. It made accommodations and transportation a breeze, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the festivities without any hassle. We cannot recommend The Athletic Club of Columbus highly enough. From the flawless event staff to the impeccable venue, our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. Have never visited the club. The review is for the Columbus Marathon & Half which is top tier. Darris Backford and his team have taken this marathon to an entirely new level. From the onset they keep listening and improving the entire event. The only negative I have and it is a major concern. One of the Masters marathon finishers, a medically trained physiologist was in the tent rehydrating. He mentioned his blood sugar level and requested a bag of saline and glucose to address stat.The nurse responded, "if you need that we will have to get you an ambulance." They asked why they would not have such on hand nor provide given conditions were known in advance (temps were in excess of 60 degrees with high humidity)? They also asked the time to address? Nurse did not like it and her bedside manner was poor to horrible. It appears they called a Dr., a friend to bring an IV kite, the saline and glucose to get the necessary treatment. It appears she or the race or both were mitigating legal risk or trying to do so.

We had a wonderful time at the Athletic Club of Columbus while attending a wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful—elegant, classic, and full of charm. The atmosphere throughout the club felt upscale and refined, perfect for such a special event. One of the highlights was the after-party downstairs at the bowling lanes, which added a fun and unique twist to the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a truly memorable setting.

The Athletic Club of Columbus is a wonderful place to hold an event. We visited here for a baby shower and it was a great time. The game room was rented and everyone enjoyed bowling on the two lanes. If you're in to golf they have Golden Tee as well. The food and service were excellent. This is a great place to host or attend an event. The whole place is beautiful and classy. If you have a chance to visit this place, I definitely would!!!
