The Betsy Hotel

Recently stayed 6 nights. The service and location were unbeatable! The rooms were a bit small and difficult to navigate; however, the hotel does have an old style charm with smaller hallways and elevators- so that’s just the vibe here. The beds were extremely comfortable and the AC worked well. Juan and Fritz, the bellhops, were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The front desk ladies and George were helpful too and held our bags while they set up the room as we arrived earlier. Darwin, the rooftop bartender, was very hospitable and made excellent drinks. I’d recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a hotel with artistic energy, great service, and over the top food in a perfect location central to South Beach.

I loved staying at the Betsy hotel while visiting South Beach. The location is just across the street from the beach and they offer complimentary beach chairs & umbrellas at the beach, note that there’s no beach side food & drink service. They also had a beautiful rooftop pool with full bar. The staff throughout the property were very kind and always offering to help. There’s also a great vibe in the lobby/piano bar/bar area. The one thing to note is that the room was small, but I didn’t spend much time in the room as it’s in the best area and the hotel amenities are amazing. I would definitely return on my next trip!

The Besty was an absolute dream! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Honestly we had the best time just hanging out in the room, the lobby bar and the pools. Josh from the lobby bar was our particular favorite as he made my birthday very special! Highly recommend the Besty if you are looking for a hotel with some fun history, great service and location to the beach look no more the Besty is where to go! The beds were also so comfortable which was so nice after a long day in the sun. I would note this hotel is old white glove luxury - if you are looking for modern or costal vibes this is not it. Think art deco and jazz bars, gallery art walls and if this is your vibe I highly recommend the Besty!

When we talk about a hotel with five-star service, five-star food, and five-star amenities, The Betsy Hotel belongs at the very top of that list. Every staff member makes you feel special, as if their role truly centers on ensuring you feel seen and heard. It’s safe to say we felt like family during our entire trip. The food at the restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. As a picky eater, I’m very selective about what I consider truly good—but the fries, the steak, and everything in between exceeded expectations. From their artisanal breakfast to their delectable lunch and hearty, satisfying dinner, The Betsy hits every mark. Topped off with live jazz music on a beautiful Thursday evening, it becomes a place that’s incredibly hard to leave—even in a city like Miami, where there’s so much to explore. We spent most of our time going back and forth, debating whether to visit friends or simply stay at the hotel and enjoy everything it has to offer. It’s safe to say our next trip to Miami will definitely include The Betsy again. They let us check into our room early, which set the tone for the whole stay. The service was top notch, and a special shoutout to Juan who went above and beyond. Breakfast was a highlight, and the bar was just perfect. We'd go back in a second. Highly recommend.
