I cannot recommend the brown hotel as a wedding venue more!! My husband and I got married there in April 2026 and it was a fairytale! Not only are the venue spaces beyond gorgeous but their staff is exceptional! Louise Riley and Lucy Hendry were amazing to work with! They were both so kind, timely, and knowledgeable. I truly felt like I got to know them throughout the planning process and they were there to help every step of the way. Our wedding there was truly beyond a fairytale! Absolutely recommend!!
Trust me—book your event at The Brown. Louise is amazing, more than a 10/10. She goes above and beyond and makes everything feel effortless. Our wedding was an entire weekend event, and all of our guests came from out of state. Louise made sure everything ran more smoothly than we ever imagined. She brought great ideas to the table and was reliable and experienced every step of the way. Our guests are still talking about it. If you’re considering The Brown for your event, ask for Louise — and ask to see E and H’s layout and vendor list for inspiration. You won’t regret it.
Stayed at the The Brown Hotel for a business meeting, and the experience was fantastic! We were treated like royalty by the entire staff from start to finish. The business breakfast and lunch were outstanding — the kind of meals you’d imagine Gordon Ramsey preparing himself. Everything was first class. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its historic significance, but also for the friendliness of the staff, outstanding service, and excellent location. Thank you to the Brown Hotel team for making our business meeting such a memorable event! We'll be back!
Enjoyed my stay here, always fun to stay at a non-chain branded hotel that carries its own unique personal charm. Decor is simply stunning. Rooms were spacious, clean and classy. Service was top-notch and professional. Highly recommend!
