They made the entire planning process feel seamless and ensured that every detail was taken care of. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the wedding was, and so many told us it was one of the best and most incredible weddings they had ever attended. That is a true testament to Kathleen’s team and the experience they created for us and our guests. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. The Gadsden House was a dream come true at our wedding this last weekend in Charleston! From the beginning stages, to seeing it all come to light, our guests ALL fell in love with this space and service. On the wedding day itself, Maddie and Caroline went above and beyond. One of them was always within arm’s reach, ready to help with anything; whether it was changing shoes, grabbing another drink, or gently pulling me aside to take a moment to breathe and soak it all in. Their presence was calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. The food was incredible, the event staff was outstanding, and the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We cannot thank The Gadsden House team enough for creating such a beautiful, unforgettable wedding day.

The Gadsden House is truly one of the most beautiful venues I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. From the moment we arrived, the stunning interiors and exteriors made my job feel genuinely fun and that energy translated into incredible images for my couple. The light in this venue is unlike anywhere else I’ve shot. Every single room, every angle, not one bad spot. For a photographer, that’s almost unheard of, and it means your portraits are going to be absolutely breathtaking no matter where the day takes you. The staff were incredibly sweet and made everyone feel so welcome. On a hot June day, the venue was also wonderful to cool down and refresh between moments, a small but meaningful detail that kept the day feeling relaxed and joyful (especially in Charleston). What really sets the Gadsden House apart is the variety. So many gorgeous options for portraits, ceremonies, and backups, plus unique dining experiences on the first and second floor and out on the piazzas. To any couple considering the Gadsden House: you will not regret it. This venue delivers on every level.
