Celebrated my honeymoon here with my wife and it was by far our best hotel experience. The staff was so personable and the hotel itself was very thorough on how they did things. When they saw we were celebrating our honeymoon on our reservation they even upgraded our room. Also the hotel had amazing places to eat within it that we absolutely enjoyed. The downtown area it is located in is also very lively with alot to do. Some days me and my wife just stayed in the hotel and we were able to have a great time. The only thing we missed out on that we wish we could have was the spa and the tea hour event they sponsor. I totally recommend this hotel if you're in the downtown Charleston area.

Beautiful hotel with mostly excellent service, specifically we were impressed by the bellmen, concierge and front desk. Our room was very clean and promptly attended to when we were gone during the day. I did not hear any outside noise for the most part and felt the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel is in prime location and walkable to a lot of what most people would want to do in Charleston. The pool area is very peaceful and the staff there were also very attentive and nice, the pool was heated to a perfect temperature so even on a colder day we could utilize it. The concierge Kevin was especially helpful when I called a few weeks before our trip to find out about some activities and restaurants, take his advice and make the trek to The Royal Tern on Johns island, so good and they have a great kids menu. (We thought Berkeleys was another casual, great food spot with good kids menu that was a short uber away, ) We did the Kings Club and while I still feel like it was worth it for us personally, I do think improvements can be made. There were often food and drink items not refilled even when an hour of breakfast was left, the machine that makes the specialty coffee machine was broken during our 3 day stay, and one morning there was no place to sit because no tables has been cleared of previous guests items. They simply needed more staff for this area. The staff that was there you could tell was stressed and had too much to do, that said when I asked for something they always went out of their way to accommodate. We used the Kings Club because we went there with a child and it is nice to have food options throughout the day, I thought the quality of the food items was very good as an adult but definitely not a lot of kid-friendly options. I think stocking the place with some chocolate milk and maybe one kid-friendly kid food at lunch would be a nice addition. But overall, was a very pleasant stay and would definitely return,

Perfection! Was staying here all week, along with much of my family and friends, for my wedding and could not recommend it more. The location is perfect and the hotel is gorgeous (I saw all of the different room categories and every single one was beautiful), but really the most special part of the stay is the service. Every single member of their team is warm and helpful and so kind. They truly made my wedding week so special and I will never stay anywhere else when I'm in town.
