The Lake House at Bulow is the perfect place for a rustic, intimate wedding! I photographed this wedding here last year and it is one of my all-time favorite venues. It's so nice to have everything in one place. Guests can roam around the grounds as they please. The ceremony was supposed to be outdoors in the island, but it started raining and we had to move inside at the last minute. Luckily, the upstairs balcony was the perfect alternative! All of the guests were on the ground floor and got a great view of the vows. The rain cleared up for the reception and everyone was able to enjoy the spectacular sunset while eating dinner. The deck was the perfect dance floor, and non-dancers were happy to explore the island and VW photo booth the couple had brought in on the front lawn.
This place is awesome! My daughter's wedding could not have been better and to be surrounded in such tranquil beauty was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend!
We had the absolute best time here. Definitely the most unique wedding venue I've ever been to. Beautiful location with a pristine cabin. The ceremony was on a small island on the lake connected by a bridge, surrounded by pines. It wasn't my wedding, but if the impossible happens and I do end up getting married, then I'd pick this over anything else!
Such a beautiful venue. Loved staying overnight and waking up to the sunrise and lilies in the lake. Laid back cabin feel perfectly matched our style.
