The Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa

We had a fantastic seafood buffet & fireworks 🎆 dinner here recently. We've wanted to visit for years and finally did. The staff were all super polite and helpful from the front entrance to our dining experience. Go hungry, because wow what a selection! The crab legs were plentiful, even at the last seating and there were so many choices I didn't even see everything, let alone try it all. Fantastic selection of seafood, we also enjoyed the grouper and the fried cod was exceptionally delicious too. Don't miss the garlic bread & pana cotta. There's definitely something for everyone at this buffet, but it's a seafood lovers delight. Gorgeous view & the fireworks were right in front of us 🤩🎆. Fantastic visit! Be prepared for parking sticker shock though, it was $25 for @2 hours & can be a bit of a walk for folks with mobility issues, but there is a drop off area with seating at the gorgeous entrance & it's flat all the way to the restaurant down the hallways. The bathrooms are located down the hall from the restaurant, so be prepared for that also. The grand fireplaces & porch are not to miss even if you're only going for a meal. We highly recommend & would love to have a local staycation here!

Overall it’s a beautiful place and the amenities are nice. We enjoyed eating at the Sunset Terrace (premium dining) and the Market Place for casual breakfast sandwiches along with ice cream and coffee. Be sure to stay in the Vanderbilt Wing as the main hotel rooms haven’t been updated and are Very old. We also played the golf course which was very well maintained and with wonderful views. Check out the Sports Center, it has a great workout facility along with pool tables, ping pong tables and tennis and pickleball courts.

We had a wonderful stay at Grove Park Inn. The location was excellent, making it easy to enjoy everything Asheville has to offer while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire property had a charming, inviting feel. One of the first things we noticed was the beautiful landscaping. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with colorful flowers, lush gardens, and inviting outdoor spaces that add so much character and beauty to the property. It truly enhances the experience and creates a relaxing Mountain Top atmosphere. We also enjoyed the lovely views and the convenience of being close to downtown while still feeling tucked away from the crowds. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Grove Park Inn to anyone visiting Asheville

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Bonnie and Jordan and everything they did for our wedding weekend at the Omni Grove Park Inn. From the very beginning, they worked tirelessly to help bring our vision to life. They were organized, responsive, thoughtful, and truly advocated for us every step of the way. Even when we encountered complex circumstances outside of anyone's control—including heavy rain on our wedding day—they remained calm, proactive, and solution-oriented. Their professionalism and dedication made all the difference. They helped everything run seamlessly while ensuring our weekend still felt magical despite the weather. Knowing they were handling every detail allowed us to fully enjoy the celebration with our family and friends. We are so grateful to have had Bonnie and Jordan on our team and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning an event at the Omni Grove Park Inn.

I spent Thursday through Saturday at the Omni Grove Park Inn for Mother’s Day weekend with my mom and daughter, and it was truly unforgettable. Our room in the Sammons Wing overlooked the golf course, and we loved watching the families of wild turkeys wander across the greens each morning. The staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day—beautiful selections and absolutely delicious. Our server was wonderful: warm, attentive, and a pleasure to talk with. We had been trying for months to book spa appointments without luck, but on a whim, we walked in to check availability—and they had three openings for that very day. The experience was exceptional. My daughter, who is 6½ months pregnant, was treated with such care that she actually fell asleep during her prenatal massage. We also used valet services for convenience and to help my mother avoid long walks. Everything about our stay—from the accommodations to the service—was top‑notch. It was an expensive getaway, but the memories we made and the chance to check something off our bucket list were absolutely priceless.
