Everything about our dining experience was top notch. From booking our reservation, the gondola ride, the locale and setting, staff, stunning views... and of course, the food and beverages. Without a doubt the best fondue we've ever had! Thanks for making this such a wonderful experience! P.S. Your reservation includes the gondola ride - recommend showing up 15 minutes early to park and ride the gondola up, to make your reservation on time.

Wonderful restaurant at 7700’! Cozy restaurant and bar area. A lot of fun to go up in July, hike at elevation and have a meal at the Roundhouse. It’s pricey, but worth it! Make your reservations!

We had the 4-course dinner here. In addition, we had the fondue and 1 glass of wine. Our total with tip for the 2 of us was $400. We thought the fondue was a $20-ish upgrade, but the bill came and it was $44 for the 2 of us. Now that I got that out of the way, the food was very good. We had meat and cheese tray for the first course. All of it was good except for the "prosciutto". Not really prosciutto, more like spiral sliced ham. Everything else on the tray was excellent. The fondue was very good. $44 good? Maybe not. But definitely an experience if you haven't had it. We didn't get the soup, but both got the salad. SO GOOD! My partner had the King Salmon which was excellent. I had the Wagyu NY Strip. I ordered it medium rare. It was more like medium. It was flavorful, but VERY tough. I probably wouldn't order it next time. The last course is dessert, Banana Cheesecake and Chocolate Toffee. Both were good but nothing special. The service was top notch and all were very attentive. The big draw of this restaurant really is the atmosphere. The gondola ride was fun and cozy. The views were beautiful! Our reservations were at 7 and we were able to watch the sunset. Overall, a great place for a special occasion.

Our lunch at The Roadhouse was a standout experience on the mountain. Often, resort dining can feel rushed, but this was the exact opposite—a refined, high-quality meal with a view to match. • The Food: The Wagyu burgers were cooked to a perfect medium-rare and incredibly flavorful. The crab roll was generous with fresh, sweet meat, but the caviar service was the true showstopper—beautifully presented and the perfect indulgence between runs. • The Service: A huge shoutout to Alex R., who truly elevated our afternoon. It’s rare to find service this personable and fun while remaining professional and perfectly attentive. He anticipated everything we needed before we even asked. • The Vibe: The atmosphere is the ideal blend of rustic charm and upscale comfort. Whether you're looking for a quick refuel or a long, luxurious lunch, this is the spot. If you are skiing Sun Valley, do yourself a favor and book a table here. It’s easily the best mid-mountain dining experience in the area.

You have to be able to board the gondola to get to the restaurant. Once you are up on top the ramp for the wheelchair, walker etc. is smooth but long and has many switchbacks. If you are able to make it, it is well worth the extra effort.. amazing food, incredible views.
