The Santa Barbara Club

Attended a wedding reception here. The entrance from the car park is very understated until you walk through the gate. The reception was held outdoors- the weather and venue was perfect for the occasion. The event coordinator did a great job with the setting: tables, plate settings, etc. The bar I located at the back wall away from the dining area, the dance floor was nice and cozy. The hors d’ oeuvres that were passed were delicious and the meal was delicious!

I loved photographing at the Santa Barbara Club. Such a cozy backyard garden feel with string lights draped between trees. It created an intimate, magical evening atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed outdoor wedding, even though it's actually right in the heart of the city. The Santa Barbara Club was the absolute best place to have our wedding. My husband and I had our ceremony at the SB Courthouse and then paraded with all of our guests to the SB Club with our guitarist and lots of instruments for the guests. Julie and Alejandra took care of us through almost 3 years of planning the wedding and remained calm through all of the COVID-required rescheduling. They are both very communicative, friendly and organized. Early on in the planning stages we had a very fun menu tasting where every single item was delicious. Jackie and Tina were fantastic throughout the reception, as we all were leaving that evening, and met us the next morning so that we could pick up some items that were left behind. The space is gorgeous and has two separate areas for the bride, groom and their attendants to get ready. The bartenders were quick to make great drinks and the food was delicious. Dancing under the stars was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

I recently had my wedding here. Due to the unforeseen rain we had to move everything inside three days before. All of the staff were incredibly patient as we changed the floor plan to accommodate everyone inside. It was such a beautiful event! The food was DELISH, the drinks were strong, and the staff was amazing. Thank you for making my wedding day so lovely!

There are so many things that I could say about the Santa Barbara Club - I don't know where to start. We had the most amazing, magical and gorgeous wedding. The service was top notch from the moment we arrived for our tour. Julie showed us around, she was immediately so warm and inviting, and then once we booked, Alejandra took over and guided us through the whole process very patiently, answering all our questions swiftly and with a smile. We looked at several venues in the Santa Barbara area and this place was by far the best value with so much natural beauty. We were really looking for a place that didn't require a lot work, we wanted to keep things easy, and that's exactly what we got. They have beautiful chairs, linens, etc. and our guests couldn't stop complimenting how stunning the venue was and how curated it felt, but the truth is we just had great vendors and a great canvas! The yard and building are so beautiful that you hardly have to do a thing! We also got so many compliments on our food - many, many people said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. What a high compliment! On top of everything else, they patiently worked with us as we rescheduled our wedding from Spring 2020 to Spring 2021 to Fall 2021. They never showed an ounce of frustration and only extended compassion. It was amazing to finally have our big day. The staff at the Santa Barbara Club were amazing from top to bottom - I wish we could get married there every year! I absolutely encourage any couple to go with the Club for their big day!
