The Savoy

On the 28 June we slept at this warmth and cozy lodge. We received a warm welcome. We stayed in room 111. Everything was clean and crisp. Supper and breakfast was lovely especially the veggies and the sauce of the red meat. Children enjoyed Everything. The two ladies that served us created an relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The following day i forgot my bag and they called and kept ot for me I will definitely recommend this place. 👌

It has all you need, clean sheets, puffy pillows, AC that works, great shower experience, bathroom and bedroom were clean and tidy upon arrival, Jenny the hostess made sure we felt at home and that we got settled in very fast, there is parking for you vehicle and they even went above and beyond and gave use a space in the carport to park the car over night, breakfast was amazing coffee and tea as well as juice, it's a beautiful interior leading up to the rooms is a flight of stairs that are very well done, they are super close to the airport 15 minutes away, which makes this a real go too stop for me going into the future. Thank you Savoy Lodge and team for you wonderful hospitality and service.

Excellent service from Jenny and Patience. They were warm and welcoming, and made our stay very comfortable. The room was clean and organized as well. They served us an amazing breakfast and made sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend.

This place is an embarrassment. We paid serious money to stay here, and what we got in return was filth, danger, and staff with attitudes so bad they should never be allowed near paying guests. Let’s start with the fact that the shower FELL ON A 6-YEAR-OLD CHILD’S HEAD. That alone should have triggered panic, apologies, and immediate action. Instead, these clowns had the audacity to say “someone must have touched it.” Yes, because a six-year-old is clearly out here sabotaging plumbing fixtures. Absolutely vile response and zero accountability. The toilet flush didn’t work, the room was barely cleaned, and maintenance is clearly something they’ve never heard of. It’s dirty, neglected, and poorly run — yet they charge like it’s some luxury place. Delusional. And the staff? Shockingly rude. Eye-rolling, nasty tones, sarcastic high-pitched voices, and a general “we don’t care” attitude. They speak to guests like they’re doing us a favour by existing. No professionalism, no manners, no shame. This place isn’t just bad — it’s unsafe, overpriced, and run by people who have absolutely no business working in hospitality. If you’re thinking of booking here, don’t. Take your money, throw it anywhere else, and you’ll still get better value. Avoid this place like the plague.

Good day I would like to express my disappointment in this lodge. No swimming pool? But you advertise it!!! False advertising is an offense. I am in the same industry managing properties for owners!!! So I know some clients can be difficult unnecessary. But in this case I am not that client. I have the right to be unhappy!!! The building maintenance is shocking, the rooms at night cochroaches running around😭😭. We rather didn't want to eat breakfast then. We really tried to just bare with it all. Wifi password not given at arrival, we have to ask and then still they put it in for you. Yet again free wifi advertised!!! Jenny is really trying to be helpful, but the other lady is so unfriendly and rude. Next thing this morning at 5 o' clock the Uber guy starts ringing the bell none stop because the guest are trying to get out!!!! But no one is around. Now everyone is awake in the lodge. I think I deserve some money back please!!! I am willing to take this matter further. No reply from the owner.
