The Venue

We ultimately chose a different venue that better fit our vision for an outdoor wedding, but I felt compelled to leave a review because of how incredible our experience was here. Jason was, hands down, one of the most helpful and responsive people we spoke with during our venue search. He went above and beyond to answer every question thoroughly and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping couples find the right fit. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and was a very close second choice for us. The chandeliers are stunning, and it already includes some decor elements like arches, plates, glasses, etc, which is a huge plus. I also really appreciated the flexibility in their alcohol packages as they offer options to fit a wide range of budgets, which is not something every venue does. Depending on your guest count, you can use the upstairs space with its own separate entrance for “smaller” gatherings (may 60-70 +) or the downstairs for larger event. I mention that because the upstairs is just as beautiful but for budget conscious couples it is a great option. The surrounding area is also such a fun bonus as there are cobblestone streets, a piano bar, and plenty for guests to enjoy before or after the event. Parking could be a slight challenge for some, but there are paid lots nearby and hotel options for guests. This is pretty typical for venues in lively areas or even those up on mountains, etc. A shuttle is always an easy workaround and is also common. Getting ready would need to be done offsite, there are nearby rooms available to rent for a few hours. Compared to venues that charge hundreds per hour for on site getting ready spaces before the wedding, this really didn’t feel like a downside. We had such a positive experience, and I truly believe anyone booking here would be in great hands. I do not usually leave reviews, but I know reading them is important part of wedding venue scouting. Thank you again, Jason, for all your time and help as we genuinely appreciate it! I added photos of the upstairs should you choose that option but the last photo is the entrance ( and only a portion- not including the large back room) of the downstairs for bigger weddings.

As an Asheville wedding photographer and videographer, The Venue in downtown Asheville is one of my favorite spaces to work in. The natural light, exposed beams, and overall layout make it incredibly versatile for both ceremony and reception, especially when everything is held in one room and thoughtfully transformed during cocktail hour. From a photography standpoint, the lighting is consistent and flattering throughout the day, and the space holds detail and atmosphere really well, whether shooting digital or 35mm film. The team is always professional and easy to work with, and the flow of the day tends to feel smooth for both vendors and couples. It’s a strong choice for anyone looking for a downtown Asheville wedding venue that photographs beautifully and functions just as well.

Great ambiance, easy to work with, perfect for our event! The Venue hosted us for a Group Leaders Appreciation dinner for our church and took care of everything! Jason was great to communicate with and it was totally turnkey with Sage & Spice. They had everything covered and freed us up to enjoy time with our leaders!

From the moment we stepped into The Venue, we knew it was the perfect space for us. Working with Kendall was an absolute dream - I can’t even begin to express how truly incredible she is. She guided us through every detail, ensuring our reception was everything we had envisioned (and patiently answered my countless questions with a smile every time). Kendall went above and beyond in so many ways, and we truly credit her for making our day as magical as it was. The entire staff on the day of our wedding was warm, attentive, and professional, creating a seamless experience for us and our guests. Choosing The Venue was one of the best decisions we made. My party of six came to see A Christmas Carol Cocktail Experience at the Venue and we all loved it! Great entertainment, great fun, and laughs! We all highly recommend this, you’ll love it!
