Villa Treville

Villa Treville is one of the most exceptional and romantic properties I have experienced on the Amalfi Coast. It feels more like a private estate than a traditional hotel, with incredible cliffside views, lush gardens, and beautifully designed suites that each feel completely unique. We were genuinely blown away by the beauty of the property and the level of service throughout our stay. Everything felt highly personal, warm, and thoughtfully delivered, with a real sense of care from the entire team. A standout feature is the 24/7 complimentary boat shuttle to Positano, which is an incredible touch. It allows guests to easily come and go from town while still enjoying complete privacy and tranquility at the property. The hotel also offers larger private villas (2–4 bedrooms), which are ideal for families or small groups looking for space and privacy while still having access to full hotel service. Villa Treville is especially perfect for honeymooners or couples looking for romance, seclusion, and a truly special setting, but it would also work beautifully for families wanting a private villa-style experience with hotel-level service. We would absolutely return.

A very, very angry experience! I came on vacation with my friends, but the hotel room was always very noisy at night, (like the sound of opening the door turning, which appeared every 1-2 hours, causing me to wake up every night!!), and the staff in the garden began to water and chat very early, and there would be a lot of noises that made people unable to sleep! !! I almost didn't fall asleep on the first night, and it was relieved by taking medicine the next day!! After giving feedback to the hotel, we were given earplugs, but the next night's sound was so loud that the earplugs couldn't stop it. In the early morning, my friends and I were always woken up. After giving feedback to the hotel, the hotel told me that the manager would give me feedback and give me a special arrangement. But after meeting, they asked me if it was possible that I slept lightly or in my ears My own voice, I really can't believe it. This is the service of a five-star hotel!! And I wasted ten minutes to repeat my experience~ Because the reason why I chose the hotel at the beginning was that I saw the advertisement that it was quiet and private, but in fact I didn't get such an experience. I was disappointed! If you also want to spend 1,000 euros to experience a hotel that can't sleep well, choose here!

It’s been less than a week since my daughter and I returned from our father and daughter trip at Villa Treville and we’re still talking about it nonstop. We truly had the time of our lives and everything about this place was perfection. The service was beyond exceptional, the restaurant and fine dining were unforgettable, and the rooms were stunning in every detail. The Rock Beach Club was incredible, the pool and all the different levels throughout the property were breathtaking, and even the outdoor gym felt like something out of a dream. Every single person on the team was so warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They made us feel completely at home while living in what honestly felt like a fantasy world. It was total magic for us and leaving was the hardest part. If anyone ever wants to experience what ultimate luxury truly feels like, this is the place. Thank you to the entire Villa Treville family for creating memories we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back soon.

Room: 5/5 uniquely decorated rooms, all curated with beautiful decor and breath taking views. Some rooms have bit of a walk up stairs- would not recommend for handicappers, but we had no issues with this. The steps were worth the view! The entire hotel was the most stunning I’ve stayed in. Decorated beautifully and curated uniquely. Service: 5/5 due to small resort, very personalized experience. They even had a group chat which they responded to immediately. This included replacing the shampoo and body wash for my mother who has a severe gluten allergy. All employees extremely friendly and responsive and speak English fluently. Location: 5/5 10minute walk outside of the heart of Positano. Complementary boat service to the city center upon request. Perfect for the stunning views of Postitano while also having a quiet and relaxing ambiance and easy walk into the heart of the city. Cleanliness: 5/5 very clean, housekeeping came end of morning and for turn down. Constantly organizing and cleaning room. Common areas always spotless. Food: 5/5 delicious cuisine at Maestros. Including accommodating to allergy and off menu items. Breakfast had a beautiful spread as well as menu options. Value: 5/5 very expensive. A 5-star resort that is exceeds all expectations, but expect to pay the price for it. Overall Vibe: 5/5 noted above, breath taking views and all areas of the hotel provide a magical feel. Very photographic and scenic.

Wanted a Hugo spritz at the bar. Was told it’s €300 admission fee just to enter the bar, not including the drink. No explanation of such a ridiculous policy. If this is their idea of cashing in on notoriety because their location is used in a second-rate streaming series, it will backfire. BTW the series Hotel Costiera wasn’t actually filmed here - they’re just playing up the myth. View is just like any other resort in Positano, barely walkable to the city center. Don’t bother.
