Villa Verano

We stayed at Villa Romantica in July 2022 for my mom's birthday. Four years later my wife and I still bring it up. We were taken care of from the moment we stepped onto the property. Leonor and the team asked real questions, remembered the answers, and handled things before we thought to ask. Arturo was just as generous over email weeks before we ever arrived. The birthday is the part we keep retelling. A private chef dinner in the villa, flowers, a cake, all of it set up while we were out for the day. The food was excellent all week, and that dinner was the best meal of the trip. Then there is the view. Sitting above Banderas Bay under that old tree at sunset is the picture that comes to mind any time someone asks us about Puerto Vallarta. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at a long list of properties. None of them have matched the way the Verano staff looked after our family. We will be back.

We've been guests at Villa Verano since the early '90's. It is truly a gem, and the best place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. We love that the villa represents the true feel of Mexico...no modern high-rise buildings for us! If that's "your thing," suggest you head to Miami Beach. We experienced our first Puerto Vallarta villa rental in 1998. We've been coming back over the years since. Villa Verano is far and away the best villa experience we've had in PV. First, the villa -- it's magical. It's private; it's charming; it has a park-like feel. The pool and bar was a huge hit for our group of 20. And it's walkable to town along the beach. Second, the staff. Second to none! Everyone was kind and accommodating -- we really felt welcomed. Jose, the Estate Manager, was on top of everything. He even managed to get medical care for two of our guests. I've never seen anything like that in a villa! Freddy, Tony, Manny, Eddy, Meno and Arturo were exceptional -- attentive, kind and funny. We loved every one of them. And Rosy, the concierge, was fabulous in helping secure a band, boat and tequila tasting. Third, the food. Best villa food we've ever had. From wonderful breakfast buffets, to light lunches at the pool, to exquisite dinners in the evening. Every dish was delicious and commendable. I'm so happy I chose Villa Verano for my 70th birthday party. Everyone enjoyed the experience immensely. Thank you for everything. It was truly one for the memory book.

Our stay at the villa was truly the best trip ever! This property is an absolute gem, offering every amenity needed for a perfect getaway: a beautiful beach, a fantastic pool, luscious views, spacious accommodations and only a 10 mins walk along the beach to the Romantic Zone! What truly made this trip epic was the incredible staff. The deep connection and long tenure of team members (Jose, Manny, Freddie, Meno, Eddy, and Tony) are evident in their exceptional service and genuine warmth. They truly function like a family, and we felt so well taken care of. And we can't forget Chef Franko! His food was beyond exceptional, genuinely the best meals we had while in Puerto Vallarta. His accommodating nature and attention to detail made every meal a highlight. We loved our stay and are eagerly anticipating our next visit! I could write a novel about this place and what it means to our family. We have been coming here since 2007, meaning I have basically grown up here! We have come every other year for the same week since then, and every time it is just as special as the last. There are 1,000,000 things that make this the perfect place for our family. Logistically speaking, this property is great for big groups. We started in 2007 just renting the main villa, and as our family has grown, we have grown down towards the beach and renting the beach villas too. I think we’ve had a group of 50 before! We have even had someone from our group have their wedding here, and it was so awesome. The villa is very safe, secure, and incredibly private. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. But, what really makes this place special is the staff. The staff here have become like family. Lalo, Freddy, Manny, Meño, Tony, Eddy, Arturo and Jose - you guys are seriously the best. Anything you need, they are there for you. You feel like true friends! We cannot thank you enough. Franco and his incredible sous chefs never fail to impress us. They make the most beautiful and delicious meals, and are so accommodating to dietary requests/restrictions. And those that work behind the scenes - housekeeping, grounds keepers, security, and front office - you do not go unnoticed. Each of you make this place as special as it is. The greenery and perfectly maintained landscaping is outstanding. We are a huge family with lots of little ones, so to keep the property picked up, clean, and perfect for so many of us a week is no easy feat. Villa Verano, you have the most special place in our hearts. THANK YOU
