Vine Hill House at O'Connell Vineyards

We got married at Vine Hill House in June 2026, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted an intimate venue that felt like home, and after struggling to find one that felt right in wine country we were so elated when we pulled into Vine Hill. We knew it was our venue immediately, and you can really feel the love, care, and generations of family that have cared for the property for decades. It is without a doubt one of the most stunning views you will find in all of Sonoma County, and our guests can't stop raving about the beauty. Dan, Jordan, and the team made planning a breeze for us and during the event, they took care of everything which allowed us to be present. This might not be the venue for you if you want to have full autonomy with choosing vendors, designing the day-of schedule, or implementing customizations as Dan has a preferred list of vendors and procedures, however they are experts at what they do and you won't regret it!

I photographed a wedding at Vine Hill House last year, and it's one of the most magical wedding venues in Northern California. A ceremony nestled in a grove of redwood trees with a view of the O'Connell vineyard in the background is simply breathtaking. One look at the venue and you'll fall in love. On top of the scenery, Dan and Jordan are the kindest, most thoughtful, and attentive hosts and will stop at nothing short of perfection. If you're on the fence about booking Vine Hill House for your wedding, don't. Just book it! You and your guests will love their experience here no doubt about it. I'll be jealous you're there and not me!

Best decision ever was to have our wedding at Vine Hill House!!! From the drive in to the views out to the vineyard, it is just stunning but honestly nothing prepared me for how gorgeous it is at night. The place lights up and just was just so magical!! We had a larger guest count (200 guests) but wanted to find a venue that maintained a cozy, intimate feeling and that was exactly what we got!!! The venue had a natural flow where everyone stayed close together which helped with the intimate feel. I loved that the dance floor was positioned away from the tables because I felt like it helped really keep the focus to dancing which was what we hoped for. There were still plenty of places for people to sneak off and hang out if they didn’t want to dance (fire pit for smores, whiskey tasting cove). We decided to opt out of an outside wedding planner and Dan and the Trends Catering team made us feel so taken care of. They are total pros and led us through every step of the way assuring us through the many unknowns of planning a wedding. On the day of, the team was able to completely take over, helping bring some of the design to life. Our guests were also blown away by the food!! We did the family style plates and everyone’s food came out fast and warm and the portions were MORE than enough. Couldn't recommend this venue enough!!

This place is amazing. Stunning vineyard views and outstanding wine. Dan O'Connell, the owner, is knowledgeable and passionate about his craft while also being a truly delightful person to work with. Our company has held two business meetings here and, if I have it my way, our next Fall meeting will be here as well. They do a lot of weddings (I understand), and I can absolutely see why. Such a beautiful property.

The venue team has curated a list of trusted professionals, and they worked seamlessly with everyone to ensure that everything ran flawlessly, especially the catering company, TRENDS CATERING! WOW! It was clear that they had strong partnerships with the vendors, which made the day stress-free and allowed us to enjoy every moment. As for the venue itself, it’s nothing short of magical. The natural beauty of the space, combined with the thoughtful design and attention to detail, made everything feel so romantic and elegant. We didn’t need to add much because everything was already so stunning! Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue and have been raving about it ever since. It truly set the stage for a day we will never forget. We can’t thank this team enough for creating such a beautiful and unforgettable experience for us. They truly know what they’re doing, and we felt completely supported from start to finish.
