I attended Candlelight: Coldplay & Imagine Dragons at The Wimbish House and it was absolutely magical! The staff was gracious to both the guests and musicians. I really appreciated the artistry and effort the performers brought to the stage. It was fascinating to hear how they adapted pop/rock music for a string quartet. The fusion of the intimate candlelight atmosphere with such powerful arrangements made for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved tonight’s performance of Cold Play & Imagine Dragons! This is about our fourth time attending Candlelight. The ladies of Magnolia String Quartet are such talented performers; their music is transformative. This is our 17th Anniversary weekend which made this an even more special occasion. Thank you, see you again soon!
A gorgeous historical mansion, very nicely kept. A good size for the attending group. However, the building itself needs crawlspace encapsulation. The restroom toilets could be made suitable for adult sizes (heights and toilet seat shapes). The event planner might want to consider comfort over looks and use better chairs as the seating is quite uncomfortable.
The candlelight concert was absolutely beautiful. The warm glow of hundreds of candles created such an intimate, peaceful atmosphere. The quartet—two violins, a viola, and a cello—played with incredible skill and emotion. Every piece felt alive. The audience was lovely too, fully engaged and appreciative. A truly magical evening!
We had a wonderful time at the fever candlelight show of Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. Great setting in a historic home.
