Wyndham Grand Jupiter

From the time we called to get a last minute room on a Friday night, everyone was amazing, polite and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the bed and linens were very nice. Lobby area is beautiful and they have this very uplifting music always playing. Surrounded with elite shopping and restaurants. Beautiful walking area in the morning on the intercoastal. You can stay a night or a month or all winter. Definitely a place to visit.

I have stayed at Wyndham Grand Jupiter before and thoroughly enjoyed my experience, which is why I chose to stay here again while traveling for work. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was very disappointing and did not live up to the high standards I experienced during my previous visit. I booked my accommodations through my corporate account and had reserved a king suite with a view. After spending an exhausting day driving and working in the Florida heat, I was looking forward to checking in, settling down, and relaxing. Devin assisted me with check-in. While he wasn’t as welcoming or conversational as the staff members I encountered during my previous stay, I didn’t think much of it because I was tired and eager to get to my room. Once I arrived at the room, I immediately realized something was wrong. The room was located far from the main areas of the hotel, requiring two elevator rides and a walk past multiple conference rooms. The room itself felt dark and uninviting despite the sunny weather outside and the window coverings being open. To make matters worse, there was a large air conditioning unit directly outside the window that generated constant noise. As someone traveling for work, a quiet environment is important, and this room was far from ideal. The biggest issue, however, was that the room was not what I had booked. Instead of the king suite with a view confirmed in my reservation email, I was given what appeared to be a standard queen/full room. At no point during check-in did Devin explain that I was being assigned a different room type than what I had reserved. After trying to unwind with a shower and changing into comfortable clothes, I reviewed my reservation confirmation and confirmed that the room assignment was incorrect. I then gathered my belongings and returned to the front desk. Fortunately, Majik was there and provided exceptional customer service. He immediately listened to my concerns and asked whether the original clerk had informed me of the room type I was receiving. When I told him he had not, Majic understood why I was frustrated. He also asked whether I had requested a room change, which I had not, because I had only just discovered the discrepancy. Majik quickly resolved the issue and got me into the room type I had originally reserved. His professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help turned around what had been an extremely disappointing start to my stay. While I appreciate Majik’s excellent service, I remain concerned about how the initial room assignment was handled. Being downgraded from the room type I reserved without any explanation is unacceptable, particularly for a loyal returning guest traveling on business.Transparency during check-in would have gone a long way toward avoiding this situation. Not sure why I was downgraded when room was clearly available so it feels intentional. I know this hotel is capable of providing a great guest experience because I have experienced it firsthand before. Unfortunately, this visit fell well short of those expectations. The only reason this review is not lower is because Majik stepped in and corrected the problem promptly and professionally.

Such a beautiful hotel with a great location! The front desk staff/management were so hospitable and kind. We just loved it here. Thank you for everything. (Pool and view of marina…gorgeous)

Meticulously clean rooms and well over 400 sqft. Professional and courteous staff. Gorgeous property and well appointed among fine restaurants, coffee, and retail shopping. Few minutes drive to all the Jupiter must sees... blowing rock preserve and Lighthouse museum etc.

Room was decent - rest of the hotel is tired and old. Carpet is riddled with stains and everything is just worn. Front desk and guest services was useless. I also asked a question/request on my reservation that was never addressed. I had multiple bags upon arrival and no cart and no valet and no offer to store until available. I had to make multiple trips to my room with no assistance. I also asked for something to be brought to my room and they said they didn't have the staff and I would have to come pick it up. Room service Food is delivered in paper bag - for over 600 a night I would expect real plates and cutlery. Service was poorly lacking for a hotel that claims to be 4 star. It is not worth the price.
