Yew Dell Botanical Gardens

Excellent place for walking or relaxing with plenty of beautiful flowers, trees, plants that evolve with the seasons. You can bring your dog on Sundays. Has a beautiful and fun fairy forest with cute little fairy houses that are handmade and very creative. Highly recommend for all ages. Has a gift shop, a nice restaurant and a terrasse with a water fountain and a great view as well as a small castle-like house, a small cottage with herb garden, beautiful walkway with bordering trees and plants, little shade gardens, a great short hiking trail around a pond but you must spray yourself for ticks!!! Great plant and vegetable sales spring through fall. You can take a nice and short country road drive along the small road outside the entrance if you turn right!

A good friend gave us an annual pass instead of buying our family a gift one year for the holidays. We have continued donating and renewing our pass every year since for the last 10 years. This has become a regular part of our weekly family time to walk through the gardens and see all the changes throughout the year. I love how they are always improving the space and coming up with new ideas to make Yew Dell better all the time. Love this place!

We had a blast! Even through the down pour! They have some complimentary umbrellas for use, free to those who want to explore the gardens. They have a cafe and sitting as well as a very clean bathroom! The gift shop Was darling as well! If you have not been don’t let the rain stop You!

I have been to a few botanical gardens and this one was very unique. It’s smaller but there is a lot of neat things to see. It felt like an enchanted forest in certain areas. The staff were very nice too.

Beautiful garden, it is medium sized in my opinion but offers such a variety of plants and such. I do not do things like this much and am not very "knowledgeable" in botanical stuff, but I can just say it was absolutely beautiful.
