This policy covers the Bridal Buddy app and communications about its testing and support. The separate website privacy policy applies when you browse Bridal by Bentley.

Wedding Planning Information on Your Device

Information you enter for your wedding, including tasks, budget and payment records, guest information, vendor contacts, attached documents, and schedules, is stored on your device. Bridal Buddy does not provide cloud storage, live partner synchronization, or a backup service for these planning records.

Do not assume that planning records can be recovered after losing or replacing a device, clearing app data, or uninstalling. Keep essential original documents separately. A PDF or CSV export is a reference copy, not a promise that the app can restore your complete plan from that file.

Exported Files and Sharing

The optional paid unlock enables PDF and CSV exports. When you choose to export or share a file, it can contain the planning information included in that export. You choose where to save it and whom to send it to. File-storage, email, messaging, or other services you select handle the shared information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Review exports before sending them, share only what recipients need, and protect files containing guest contacts, financial details, or supplier documents. Exported copies do not update automatically. Deleting app data does not remove copies saved elsewhere or received by other people.

Advertising Through Google AdMob

The free version displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ad services may process device and advertising identifiers, IP addresses, ad interactions, and technical information to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and maintain their services. The information processed depends on the service configuration, applicable requirements, and available device or consent settings.

Google describes its practices in its Privacy Policy and advertising information. Consult your Android privacy and advertising settings for controls available on your device. The one-time paid unlock removes in-app ads; it does not delete information already processed by advertising services.

Google Play Purchases and Installation

Bridal Buddy uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time US$6.95 purchase, which removes ads and unlocks PDF and CSV exports. Google Play processes payment information under its own policies. Billing-related transaction and purchase-status information is used to provide the purchased entitlement; entering payment information into Google Play does not mean it becomes part of your local wedding plan.

Google Play also handles app distribution and updates. Internet access may be required for these services even when your planning records are available offline. Review Google's policies and the purchase details displayed in Google Play before paying.

Beta Group, Feedback, and Support

Joining the testing Google Group involves your Google account and the information visible under that group's settings. Google handles its service under its own policies. Messages or screenshots you submit to the group, in-app feedback destination, or developer email may contain your contact information, device or app version, and the details you choose to send.

We use support communications to respond to questions, investigate reported problems, and improve the app. Do not submit guest lists, private contracts, payment details, passwords, or other unnecessary personal information. Redact screenshots before sharing. Group posts may be visible to other members according to the group settings.

Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

Planning records remain on your device until you remove them or app data is removed. Your Android settings provide controls for clearing app data and uninstalling; these actions can permanently remove your local plan. Separately delete exported files from their saved locations and ask recipients about copies they hold.

Third-party service information is retained under the relevant provider's policies. We keep support correspondence as needed to address the request and related service issues or legal obligations. Contact us to request access to or deletion of support information you supplied; applicable obligations may limit deletion. We cannot retrieve planning records that exist only on your device.

Security and Other People's Information

Use a device lock and protect access to your phone, exported files, and original documents. Local storage does not make a device or shared file immune to unauthorized access. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Only enter and share guest or vendor information you have an appropriate reason to use for wedding planning. Avoid unnecessary sensitive details. Bridal Buddy is a wedding planning tool, not a service directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information through our support channels.
