Bella Bridesmaids

I ordered a Lula Kate bridesmaids dress through Bella’s for a wedding. After being virtually measured due to living out of town, I ordered the size they recommended according to my largest measurement. The dress came in and it was almost a full size too small. I had to find an expert seamstress to take all 5 of the tiny 1/2” seams out for the dress to fit. Upon calling Bella’s, I was told that this was a known issue with Lula Kate dresses lately and was offered absolutely no help outside of extra fabric which would have been a very expensive alteration due to the cut of the dress and the pattern on the fabric (luckily I could get by with the very small margins left on the seams) . Why continue to sell dresses known to not fit with no guidance to customers of existing issues?

I was looking for a dress for my daughter’s wedding and Bella’s was the first place we went. I had seen a bunch of dresses I liked online and they carried most, if not all of them. Because of my daughter’s schedule I had to make an appt last minute. Sage made sure we were able to come in the day we needed. She was very helpful, pulled some dresses I had emailed her pics of, let us look through and pick others while she pulled them, answered all my questions & made me feel good about the dress I picked. She measured me while I was there and had me try on a dress in my size, by the same designer in the same style, to make sure I liked the fit. We were in and out in an hour. I didn’t think I would be buying a dress the same day but the decision was easy and I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else. They have so many dresses to choose from that there is no way you can go to Bella’s & not find something you love.

They fat-shamed several of my friends at different locations. Dresses took a month longer than we were told and when we asked what happened they stated that they have no control as to when the dresses come in -- we ordered 5 months before the wedding. Customer service was overall terrible, nobody was willing to help and could never give any updates as to where our dresses were. Was given incorrect/conflicting information at several different locations... the overall experience was frustrating and stressful and honestly ruined the entire experience for the bridal party. Dresses are extremely expensive, staff is rude and unhelpful, nobody is willing to help you if there's any issue, they don't provide alterations services and often tell you to size up even if you don't need to. I would NOT recommend using Bella Bridesmaids EVER.

Great shop! Great people! Great dresses! I can’t brag enough on Bella Bridesmaids! They were helpful, knowledgeable and kind in every way. I could not have asked for a better experience! Though the store has “bridesmaids” in their name, they have a wonderful selection of Mother of the Bride dresses (which is what I was shopping for). I look forward to wearing the dress at my daughter's wedding!

I highly recommend Bella Bridesmaids in Homewood! Our stylist, Sage, was outstanding - friendly, helpful, and made the whole process so easy. My sister and I had a great experience finding the perfect dress for my bridesmaids!
