The Tent Merchant Event Rentals Inc.

It’s easy for a vendor to look good on paper, but Tent Merchant delivers actual ease. For our Asian pre-wedding events, we needed infrastructure we could trust blindly, and they absolutely smashed expectations. The tenting was put up efficiently and provided the perfect, comfortable sanctuary for our guests, while the tables and chairs were properly brought in and picked up. You can tell this team takes immense pride in the upkeep of their inventory—everything looked clean and was accurate. They were communicative, flexible with our shifting needs, and completely dependable. They are officially our go-to for any event infrastructure!

The Tent Merchant is an exceptional Santa Barbara–based company that helps us bring our event visions to life through custom-designed pieces and their distinctive inventory of rental offerings. Their team is consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and professional, making them a trusted partner for our events.

We used Tent Merchant for both of our daughters weddings (2018 and 2024). They were incredibly easy to work with, things ran smoothly and it turned out beautifully. It was exactly what we wanted. If we had another wedding we would use them again if we could!

R&R have been using the Tent Merchant and their incredible team for years. Everyone from the front office to the field team gives their best every time, all the time.

We used The Tent Merchant for my sister’s elopement and the experience was great from start to finish. The booking process was simple (thanks to Yessenia), which made planning much less stressful. They arrived on time on the day of the elopement and set up the chairs quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them if you are having a ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse!
