Delaware Museum of Nature & Science

My daughter and I had an awesome time. Now she is afraid of the dinosaur skeletons, but that’s only because they were so realistic! We unfortunately did not go close to there because she was very afraid of them. There was a lot of extremely kid friendly activities here. There was even a little room where a lady had the kids dance to music on the screen and she read a book to all the little children. This museum is very well created and laid out. Very well lit also. It seems like it’s in a very nice part of Wilmington, Delaware. This is a great place to take your kids or anybody else.

Looking for a fun family outing? We had such a wonderful experience at the Delaware Science Museum! 🦖🔬🌿 The museum was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and there was plenty to keep everyone interested. We especially loved the hands-on activities, nature exhibits, dinosaurs, and storytime. It was a great mix of learning and fun, which made the experience even more enjoyable for the whole family. We had such a good time and would definitely go back again. If you’re looking for a place where kids can explore, learn, and have fun, it’s definitely worth a visit! ❤️

Rather pricey for the size. My daughter had a great time though and we hope to come back for an event or something organized. All the staff were very knowledgeable and kind. We really appreciated the bug person they took time to show us each insect. P.s the gift shop has the cutest stickersssss.

This is an amazing science museum. Glowing rock, cool mechanism, dinosaur, and their display is really well thought out. Like you look up to see bird, elephant. Look down you see corral and fish. Touch whale bone and many tunnel for kids to roam around (warning, make sure you are prepared). many interactive activities to do, and their nature nook got snake. Kids really enjoy this place. And let's talk about all their outdoor statue, turtle, bear, deer. Kids really have fun here!

First time visiting this place. We went with my family as a field trip since they are home schooled. I was very impressed with the exhibits and the layout. The building is not huge but they really cover a lot in there. They have it broken down into section, with various geographical locations specified. When we were there they had an animatronic dinosaur exhibit on display. There was also a room where the kids could see a live turtle, snake and tarantula. They have a nice gift shop and also a place to eat. Admission was around $30 per person. There is an outdoor area as well but it was raining when we were there.
