The Chicory

My fiancé and I got married at the Chicory on Saturday 2.28, and I cannot say enough good things about Jenna and her team. I was an out of town bride (who isn't much of a planner by nature), and from the very beginning, Jenna and the entire Chicory team made the whole wedding process smooth, simple and FUN. When you book with the Chicory, so much is already included in the gorgeous venue that it streamlined a TON of little decisions. The location is absolutely perfect - you're right in the middle of all of the action of the city without the craziness of the Quarter. Not to mention the gazebo alleyway made for a PERFECT Second Line. I also can't say enough good things about the FOOD. When my now husband and I came to the open house back in June (which I HIGHLY recommend all couples attend), we were once again affirmed with our choice to host our wedding here. The food truly was incredible, and we've had multiple guests tell us it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding (I agree). Finally, the day of attendants made sure we had absolutely everything we needed to have an absolutely perfect wedding day. The Chicory was ironically the last venue on our list to visit, but boy am I glad we made the last stop and chose the Chicory. Jenna and her entire team are absolute pro's, and they made our wedding dreams even better than we ever could have imagined. Many brides say they're relieved when the wedding is over because the stress can just become so great. I, however, am a bit sad because Jenna and her team just made the entire planning seamless - I'd do it again in a heartbeat to come back to the Chicory. Your venue and food (and the team that goes along with them) are two of the biggest choices in planning a wedding, and while I know there are dozens of wonderful venues throughout New Orleans, I couldn't imagine picking anywhere else, and I would suggest it to everyone. It is genuinely hard to put into words how much my husband, my family & I appreciate everyone at the Chicory. From the lovely ladies in event production (Shout out to Kimberly & Jenna), the wedding party assistants (Stephanie made the whole night magical) and to the staff - every single person made our wedding a night to remember. The Chicory team came to the rescue when our first venue had to cancel & honestly I couldn't be more happier with how everything turned out. The food *chefs kiss* incredible, every food option was tasty & just perfectly cooked! Highly recommend the creme brûlée bar, if you can swing it!! My husband and I still regret only having one... We had two speciality cocktails & the bartenders made those to perfection. The venue - sparkling clean & beautiful without any extra decor! New Orleans is a special place & we were so glad to have had our family and friends from all around the world celebrate with us there.

This venue and event staff was very organized. Felt attended to. The food was quite good — especially the Brie and Crawfish dip. Our group was in their smaller portion of the venue — still big enough for 100 people to mingle comfortably for sure. The staff was professional, on time, answered all questions, and helpful!

There is no better venue in New Orleans than The Chicory to have your wedding. From the get-go, Bret and Jenna blew us away. We must have visited five + venue tours and no one compared to the thoroughness and presentation of these two. They made us feel completely at ease to hold our wedding there. It felt like the perfect place to say, “I do.” First and foremost, the Chicory is absolutely stunning. Secondly, the Chicory knows that your guests are there to eat, drink, and have fun. They made sure that we had plenty of bars and bartenders so none of our guest were waiting for a drink. They had a great drink selection and even made two specialty cocktails for my husband and I. The food…. OH MY GOSH. It was so delicious. Everything was so tasty… even my husband’s family who is born and raised in NOLA were raving about it. Both my husband and I also had personal assistance the entire night who brought us whatever we wanted and always made sure we had either some food or a drink in hand. The space was set up perfectly. Another feature of the Chicory that we loved was the courtyard behind it. We did our Second Line behind the Chicory and did not have to worry about the police escort. We also opted to rent their gas lamp photo booth which was a fun addition to the wedding--guests loved it. We even got to keep the name sign they made for us on the lamp post (great keepsake). Lastly, although we had a wedding planner and we absolutely loved her and her team, The Chicory does SOOOOO much that I imagine it would be easy to go without a planner if you so wish. The Chicory is the total package. It is a gorgeous venue with delicious food, excellent service, and the very BEST team running it. HIGHLY recommend.

Amazing!!! I experienced the chicory as a wedding guest. The place is gorgeous. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food was incredible! The DJ, flowers, setup, food, bridal room, decor, etc was flawless.
