Working with Rachel was an absolute pleasure!! From our first call she understood our vision and executed it perfectly! A non-wedding, chic, fun, black-tie, cocktail party. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly brought to life — from the stunning florals, musical and lighting, to the perfectly timed flow of the evening. Rachel’s calm presence, impeccable taste, and organization made the entire planning process not only stress-free but actually fun! Our guests are still raving about how perfect the weekend was. Rachel planned our recent wedding on Mt Desert Island and it was beyond expectations, truly a perfect weekend of 3 separate events. We chose Rachel without hesitation after she planned a 40th birthday celebration for us two years ago with similar amazing results. She and her team are thoughtful, responsive, creative, and dedicated to making your event perfect. The wedding planning process was easy and just the right amount of engagement. Rachel made loads of decisions and suggestions for us but always ensured we were in the loop and up to date as things progressed. Our guests had an amazing time and everyone asked us to get married again next year so they could have another amazing weekend in Maine. We have Rachel to thank for that, she and her team are outstanding.

RL Sisson Events is the answer to your prayers. We retained Rachel’s services to plan our Welcome Party and wedding in July 2021 and it was easily the single best decision we made in planning these events. We love Bar Harbor but planned our wedding celebration in 6 months from 5 hours away. Rachel is experienced, professional, available, and a joy to work with. She has strong relationships with the vendors on the island which seemed to make us VIP customers wherever we went. I so appreciated Rachel’s ability to support us in making our own decisions while also being available for her counsel when we needed it. Getting married in Bar Harbor was a dream of ours. She somehow brought our dreams into reality in ways that far exceeded our expectations. Rachel made the process stress free and easy. Not only is she fantastic at what she does, she’s an awesome person and a wonderful person to have around. She became our biggest cheerleader during the wedding planning process. Her staff is wonderful as well. During our wedding reception, some of the guests were in direct sunlight (as it was an outdoor wedding). She and her staff went above and beyond to hang table linens to temporarily shade our guests. Rachel’s staff was just as professional, hard working, and lovely to work with as she was. I feel incredibly lucky that we were able to work with Rachel. If you have any hesitation on whether or not you need RL Sisson events, I hope I’ve convinced you.

I don’t need to have more than one wedding to know Rachel is the best out there. Her kindness, patience (!!!!) and ability to bring each couple’s vision to life is unmatched. No matter what was thrown at us (or what we threw at her), she made it happen. She cares deeply about what she’s doing and it shows. Amazing industry relationships. Amazing (local) understanding of MDI. 10000/10. We trust her implicitly and would do it over and over again if we could.
