Not only is David a fabulously talented musician, he also enjoys nothing short of “hero status” with my wife and me. She and I were fortunate enough to hear David playing in Santa Barbara one evening several years ago while we were still planning our wedding. We were so taken with his performance that during a break we approached him to ask if he might be able to play that weekend. Indeed, he was available, and he was just perfect. Amazing music, incredibly engaging, great everything! But I want to explain the hero status comment. Just three days before the wedding, we learned that the quartet we had engaged to play during the ceremony had to cancel! Upon hearing this news, David appreciated the challenge we faced and without hesitation stepped up not only to say he would help us find someone else if he could, but also that we should think of him as the backup plan in case we couldn’t, indicating he would do everything necessary to learn all the planned songs the next couple days. With my wife and me dealing with 101 other wedding details already, the reassurance we felt from his gracious and immediate offer was truly a gift. Said directly, anyone who has the chance to engage with David either professionally or personally is truly blessed.

David played at my birthday party in our backyard and made the evening extra special. Playing songs everyone knew, sprinkled in with the added plus of listening to some, requested original songs, his beautiful songs and music were the perfect soundtrack to the evening. He truly added so much - everyone loved him and enjoyed his singing and playing. Would recommend in a heartbeat!!
