The Park Band

As well as being my favorite music venue in Birmingham, they now have a private karaoke room available to rent by the hour! They thought of everything for this addition: fun decor, sound reactive lights, an amazing sound system, and they use Karafun software that gives access to every karaoke song ever made! If you're a karaoke fan, this is perfection! It sounds like walk-ins are welcome if the booth isn't already booked, but if you don't want that gamble, download the Saturn Karaoke app to reserve the space.

♿️Fantastic venue. Sound system was a little much standing near it, but my gods it was an amazing show last night! Bartenders are excellent and friendly. Lots to see and do. Easy access to outdoor patio if you smoke or don't and just need air. Light and sound system guys are amazing. I am very appreciative of one of the employees standing at the top of the stairs. He told me where the ADA side was but it was too late to get through the crowd to get there. Just for reference, it is on the left hand side. He also snapped a pic for me as I could not see well and I am grateful. Got some fantastic video of 10 Years on their 20th anniversary tour. I wanted to get them to sign my leg, but they were so busy. I met the drummer from Kamenar. Twin brothers, amazing show, full of energy. Wish I'd gotten a photo bc they were so much fun.

Our first time at Saturn. Staff was friendly. Service was good. We got there early to see a comedy show benefitting The Other Foundation Birmingham and there was free food provided by some local restaurants. We found seats easily and enjoyed an entertaining show. Parking was on the street or in side lots nearby. We felt safe going to and from our car. Overall, a great first experience and we would definitely visit again.

What an AWESOME spot!! Perfect sized venue, great sound, cute decor. Nice little section on the side of the building for smoking/hanging out outside with drinks.

They have a great calendar with lots of variety of artists. The crowd is is good, and I have never seen a fight inside or outside. I don't know much about their food but they have nice bartenders and plenty of nooks to sit and have a conversation before or after the show. They have a nice eating area outside. Typical for a downtown location, the parking is sparse but if you're creative and don't mind walking a block or two, there are plenty of spaces available.
