Had a great time at Birmingham Premiere LUX Cine GSX & Pizza Pub! We went to see Obsession and the entire experience was fantastic. The seats are incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the movie. The theater was clean, the atmosphere was great, and having food, pizza, and even adult beverages available made it feel like more than just a trip to the movies. We'll definitely be back for another movie night. Human beings really did peak when they decided movies should come with recliners and drinks.

We actually have this same movie theater brand in our hometown, but we choose to drive to Birmingham because the IMAX and D-BOX experience here is just that much better. It’s absolutely worth the extra drive. This location is also very clean, especially compared to some of the older reviews I’ve seen. You can tell they’ve made improvements. The popcorn is always fresh and tastes great, which definitely adds to the overall experience. One thing that really stands out is the manager. She is always so accommodating and attentive to any concerns we may have. She’s incredibly kind to both my mom and me, and her customer service truly goes above and beyond. Because of her and the overall quality of this theater, we will continue to make the extra 30-minute drive instead of going to the one just 10 minutes from our house.

My one and only experience with this location was mostly bad. The only positive was my interactions with friendly and understanding staff. But that was overshadowed by three negatives: 1) Something was wrong with the projection that made the movie dark and added a reddish hue. I notified the management who agreed with my assessment, but the only person who could do anything about it was off work and not available. 2) My GSX reclining seat was not very comfortable, and one of the two pair of controls did not work. The working pair were for seat reclining (seatback & footrest), but the other pair did nothing. The icons for the inactive pair seemed to indicate headrest controls, but the headrest did not adjust. Ultimately, the headrest was too far back for me to be comfortable once reclined. 3) I did receive a refund for leaving the movie early, but only for the ticket price. I was told they could not refund the $1.75 service charge that I paid for reserving the seat on the website. Due to these three poor experiences on my first visit, I definitely won't be returning to this theater.

Honestly had a bummer of a time because they have no caffeine free diet drink options at all. Kinda ruined the experience for me, they didn’t have half of the concession options we were looking forward to. Would’ve just streamed the movie instead if I knew it was going to be like this. It is also incredibly dirty and the women’s restroom didn’t have toilet paper. If I’m being honest I had a much better experience at the non premiere theatre.

I come here every summer with my Daycare Stepping Stones and it's always a great experience. Today was our first movie of the summer and our experience was so great. All the workers were so accommodating and helpful. Coming here is absolutely my favorite field trip we do all summer.
