Killer Creations

My (now!) husband and I knew we wanted to include some videography in our wedding so we could have a way to look back on and remember all the blissful emotions and wonderful moments of our wedding day. Our priority was to have a video that captured our wedding in an authentic way (i.e., one that did not feel like a big production). My husband also had quite a bit of trepidation about being in front of the camera, so we wanted to find videographers who would help us feel and look natural on camera. We are so, so happy that we ended up finding Killer Creations! Sydney and the KC team were so kind, easy to work with, and very accommodating of our requests regarding the ‘vision’ of the video we were hoping for. We are particularly grateful that we got to work with videographers Max and Johnathon- they were SO kind, friendly, fun, and talented. Having them with us absolutely enhanced our wedding day and made all the photo/videoshoot portions of our wedding feel easy; but at the same time, their presence with us felt so natural that we mostly forgot we were even on camera. Max and Johnathon captured amazing footage throughout the day, and our videos came out so beautifully and aligned so well with our vision of authenticity. We loved all the memories highlighted in the feature film, the ceremony and speeches footage, the video and lighting aesthetics (especially during golden hour!), the high quality drone footage of our venue, and all the other elements and details they chose that make us feel like we are re-living our wedding day - with all the intense emotions and bliss of both the big and small moments - when we watch the videos. We even had a small edit request after we received the videos, and Alix + the KC team were very happy and willing to accommodate the request. KC was absolutely worth every dollar we spent, and we now have the most special set of videos that we have already rewatched many times, and I know we will continue to rewatch throughout our marriage. Huge thank you to Mike, Adam, and the Killer Creations team! They did a few of our family members' weddings, so we already knew their photos and videos were incredible, but we didn't expect just how amazing they’d be to work with. They bring the perfect mix of a calming presence and high energy that keeps everyone relaxed and laughing all day. For our engagement shoot, they flew out to San Francisco and completely took the lead. We’ve worked with photographers before who expect you to have a full vision or just "be yourself," which can feel pretty awkward. Mike and Adam picked out the landmarks, told us exactly how to pose, and immediately felt like long-time friends rather than just another vendor. On the wedding day, they had an amazing eye for making the most simple locations look elegant while capturing beautiful candid moments perfectly. Even though they dressed sharp for the event, they didn't hesitate to climb through trees just to get the perfect shot. On top of that, their communication was flawless from start to finish, and they got our previews back to us within days when most vendors take weeks. They know exactly how to direct you, keep you completely comfortable, and deliver everything super fast. We truly can't recommend them enough!

My husband and I researched dozens of wedding photographers and videographers to try to find a video vendor who had the documentary/fun/emotional style we wanted. We were extremely picky, but after meeting the KC team we knew this was the perfect fit. We specifically hired the team to do Videography because of their editing style, and we had a family friend do our photos. Throughout the process, both of the Mike(s) we worked with and Alix made everything so simple, organized, and exciting. They truly provide a white glove customer experience and left no details undefined. For our engagement session, Mike traveled hours from home to capture our love story in a place that’s so special to us. He made us feel extremely comfortable opening up about our life and we had the best day! On our wedding day, we had both Mikes shooting video and leading the creative direction for our content. You could tell they’ve done this a million times, they knew exactly what to do, what shots to get, and how to direct the wedding party. If we didn’t have them, we would have been so unorganized and regretted not getting some shots later that we didn’t think about in real time. Overall the Killer Creations team was, in a word - perfect. They went above and beyond, took every suggestion and idea we had and made it happen, they listened and pivoted, they directed and lead when we needed it, they were responsive every single time we reached out, they were proactive, kind, dedicated, and true professionals. I would hire this team again every single time.

I cannot recommend Killer Creations enough! My husband and I used this company for both our engagement and wedding photos. James, our main photographer, was part of both shoots. He’s so friendly and warm. He knows how to capture the essence of the relationship with beautiful lighting. The style of the photos turned out perfect. Adam joined James on our wedding day as our second photographer. He was also so nice and had great ideas of locations and types of shots. Both really made the day special and the results are incredible. We cannot wait to get the rest of our wedding photos back, as well as the photo album. Bottom line, I highly recommend Killer Creations to enhance your special moments!

Wow! Their photography services are phenomenal! We had our reception at the Henry Ford Museum so we needed someone familiar with the various museum lighting and who knew where the “great spots” were. James did not disappoint! He was flexible, knowledgeable, friendly and was genuinely excited to be capturing our event. He was never in the way and captured the standard shots as well as candid moments that convey the vibe and interactions between our guests. We opted to get the Monochrome Collection Photo Booth for the reception as well. Guests had a wonderful time taking serious and silly shots that were printed on the spot in black and white and made instantly available for download on line. This gave family and friends a chance to create their own shots and all were included in our event pics. From the initial meeting through now, they have made things easy for me to plan, update and receive my images. Highly recommend this team for any type of event!
